She is a popular psychotherapist and couples therapist in the Metropolitan Baltimore Washington D.C. Region. Stephanie’s two relationship repair associates, Sherrie Ludwick and Connie Wesley assist her in servicing clients in three locations. As a professional member of the National Speakers Association, she teaches how to repair conflicted relationships in the workplace and the family. Her compassionate and down to earth approach is loved by many of her followers–which she credits to her early years growing up on a Nebraska family farm in an entrepreneurial family.
Dr. Stephanie has spoken to thousands of people about the steps to effectively repair relationship complaints. Her passion is to inspire people in all walks of life to use the important concepts of business customer service in ALL relationships. She provides keynotes, motivational speeches, and seminars for couples, families, business and government audiences.
Dr. Stephanie provides expertise regarding communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal relationships both at home and in the workplace. Stephanie has extensive history providing employee assistance counseling and workplace seminars in the Baltimore Washington region. Dr. Stephanie has been practicing as a workplace consultant and a couples therapist since 1999. Stephanie has received cutting edge marriage communication training from the renowned Gottman Institute, and she is working towards her certification to provide Gottman method couples therapy. Dr. Stephanie has been featured as an expert in Forbes, Time, MSN, on television news channels and on radio shows. She is the author of Relationship Repair for Couples, a book inspired in part by her marriage to Brendan Knarr, a successful sales manager. She copyrighted the concept of having a Relationship Repair Counter™ for workplace, marriage, and family relationships. She is her own success in small business, receiving the 2014 and 2013 Best of Laurel Award for her Small Business Success and Marketing Strategies and being interviewed by Business Innovators Magazine in 2015.
Stephanie’s passions are helping people to achieve business success and marriage success via an amazing culture that supports the constant repair and resolution of relationship problems among team members, family members, and spouses. Raised on a Nebraska farm as the oldest of five children, she attributes her strong work ethic to life growing up on the farm. She is no stranger to adversity, which she discusses in her Make Your Life Matter Motivational Speech Video and attributes her accomplishments to the hard work and perseverance she learned from her own family upbringing. Dr. Stephanie’s parents started a successful manufacturing company Weiland Doors, and they role modeled an entrepreneurial spirit that she carries with her to this day. Stephanie completed her undergraduate degree at Creighton University of Omaha, a Jesuit school that encourages students to become “men and women for others” which Stephanie brings to her followers with free relationship advice right here on her website and via the Free Couples Therapy Contest entry on the homepage.
