Associate Tristin Malone, LCPC, NCC
Tristin Malone is a Maryland native who has a passion for serving children, adults, and families within the mental health community. Tristin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. Tristin holds a Masters of Science in Clincial Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Washington University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Tristin has working experience in therapeutic settings such as Community Mental Health, Homeless Shelters, Outpatient Mental Health, and Trauma/Crisis Centers. Tristin has a passion to help her clients achieve and maintain their best quality of life and gain a positive sense of self through a holistic approach focusing on body, mind, and soul while integrating therapeutic techniques and creating a positive therapeutic alliance.
Tristin’s areas of special interest are working with children, families, and adults who are struggling with various behavioral and mental health issues such as inattention, conflict resolution, oppositional behaviors, trauma, coping skills, effective communication, creating healthy boundaries, grief and bereavement, LGBTQ related issues, anxiety, depression, and issues related to life transitions. Tristin’s main methods of therapy that are utilized with her clients are Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma- Focused Therapy, and Soultion- Focused Therapy.
